Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1: Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all ticket bookings, transactions, and services completed through websites and funnels operated by Liz Parham (Off to Yoga) (referred to as "the Instructor"). By validating an order and completing a payment via our secure platform, you are considered a "Client" and agree to these terms in full.

Article 2: Age Restrictions & Venue Requirements

In accordance with our venue hire agreements and insurance policies, strict age restrictions apply to our in-person services:

• Adults (18+): The vast majority of participants at our workshops must be adults over 18 years of age.

• Teens (14–17): Individuals aged 14 and upwards are welcome to attend, provided they are accompanied throughout the entire session by a participating parent or legal guardian, or if prior written consultation and approval has been granted by the Instructor.

• Under 14s: We cannot accept bookings for anyone under the age of 14.

Article 3: Bookings, Pricing & VAT

• Any order placed implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

• All prices are indicated in British Pounds (GBP).

• VAT: The Instructor operates under the UK VAT registration threshold; therefore, VAT is not applicable and is charged at 0%.

• The price applied to an order will be the exact rate announced on the website at the time of booking (including early-bird pricing tracks).

Article 4: Payment Security

• Payment is due immediately at the time of booking to secure your mat space.

• Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. All transaction information is encrypted via industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. The Instructor does not store, see, or have access to your raw credit or debit card details.

Article 5: Cancellations, Refunds & Transfer of Tickets

• Refund Policy: Because spaces at the village hall are strictly limited to ensure safety and comfort, all bookings are strictly non-refundable.

• Ticket Transfers: If you can no longer attend the workshop on 25 October 2026, you may transfer your ticket to a friend at no extra cost. You must notify the Instructor via email at least 24 hours before the event starts so that attendee registration and health screening information can be updated.

Article 5a: Cancellations or Rescheduling by the Instructor

• Event Cancellation: The Instructor reserves the right to cancel the workshop at any time due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control (including but not limited to instructor illness, venue unavailability, severe weather, or failure to meet minimum participation numbers).

• Refunds & Liability: If the workshop on 25 October 2026 is cancelled entirely by the Instructor, you will receive a full 100% refund of your ticket price (£29 or £39).

• Exclusion of Extra Costs: The Instructor’s liability is strictly limited to the cost of the workshop ticket. The Instructor cannot be held responsible or liable for any secondary expenses incurred by the Client, such as pre-booked travel, accommodation, or childcare costs.

Article 6: Health, Safety & Liability Waiver

• Medical Screening: By booking a ticket, you confirm that you do not suffer from any health conditions (including heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, joint/bone issues, or recent surgeries) that would make physical exercise unsafe.

• Pregnancy & Injuries: If you are pregnant or carrying an active injury, you must notify the Instructor prior to booking.

• Personal Responsibility: Yoga involves physical movement. You acknowledge that you are responsible for monitoring your own physical limits and must stop practicing immediately if you experience pain or discomfort.

Article 7: Protection of Personal Data (UK GDPR)

• In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are committed to protecting your privacy [civics].

• Data Collected: We collect your name, email, phone number, and a designated emergency contact. This information is used strictly to manage your booking, send event updates, and ensure your physical safety at the venue.

• Emergency Contacts: Emergency contact data is collected under the legal basis of "Vital Interests" [civics]. It will be kept securely on our digital systems and will be permanently deleted immediately after the conclusion of the workshop on 25 October 2026.

• Marketing: By inputting your email, you agree to receive automated booking updates and occasional news regarding future workshops. You can unsubscribe instantly at any time via the link at the footer of our emails.

Article 8: Photography Policy

• We celebrate creativity! Participants are welcome to take photographs of themselves or their friends during designated parts of the workshop.

• To protect the privacy and comfort of all attendees, you strictly agree not to capture other participants in the background of your photographs or videos without their explicit, verbal permission.

Article 9: Governing Law

All clauses appearing in these general conditions of sale, as well as all operations of purchase and sale referred to therein, are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales.
